a journey by bike

Our 8431km cycle tour through the Andes from Lima to Ushuaia, the southernmost tip of Argentina & the world. Our bikes took us accross mountain passes to over 4900m, over the Peruvian Puna & Bolivian Salt flats. We crossed 2500km of hot desert before crossing the Andes to the volcanic lake district. We then followed the Careterra Austral to Patagonia & into an autumnal Tierra del Fuego. Our blog is a photographic journal of a very beautiful journey through an incredible continent.

Bulls ears and sparrows.

Bulls ears collected before they go to the slaughter house. Why they couldn't just remove the tags isn't clear.

It's not really a sparrow, it's a condor a long way up riding the thermals.
