Isla Grande Chiloe & Ancud
After leaving the lakes we had a quick dash down the Panamercan highway to Puerto Montt, which was a 'typical Chilean' port town....so we left as quickly as possible for the Island of Chiloe.
Arriving in Chiloe. Chacao had a completely different feel to mainland Chile.
We stayed in a hospedaje (cheap B&B) with an old lady called Alba who fed us tea and biscuits when we locked ourselves out of our room.
She'd just had all the locks changed to new yale style locks but didn't have any keys!
This will probably be our most Westerly point on the trip so we sat and had lunch on the beach.
We sat and watched divers from these fishing boats collecting something....and dolphins playing only 20m from the beach.
Fishermen line the bridge on the way into Ancud.
