El Campo de Hielo Norte.

Another glacier tumbling down from a hidden summit.

This superhighway of a glacier that is Ventisquero Nef, disappearing up into the clouds shrouding the ice field.

The turbulance was terrible.

It wasn't just the type of turbulance that might spill your G&T on the way to Ibiza but the kind that throws you into the roof of the plane with enough force to make you wonder why you're cycling down the Andes!

Sarah didn't really enjoy the experience.

A scarred but empty glacial valley.

The mixing of the waters, I think at the end of Lago Bertrand.

Homeward bound.

That looks like a good fishing spot next to the bridge.

Lago Gral. Carrera.

This was the following morning, when we had stopped feeling sick.

Carlos the pilot agreed we should stick with our bikes.
