a journey by bike

Our 8431km cycle tour through the Andes from Lima to Ushuaia, the southernmost tip of Argentina & the world. Our bikes took us accross mountain passes to over 4900m, over the Peruvian Puna & Bolivian Salt flats. We crossed 2500km of hot desert before crossing the Andes to the volcanic lake district. We then followed the Careterra Austral to Patagonia & into an autumnal Tierra del Fuego. Our blog is a photographic journal of a very beautiful journey through an incredible continent.

The long road to San Juan

What can I say, the desert was really starting to get to us. Cycling in 40 degree heat on long straight, flat roads isn“t much fun.

We wanted to cycle the Andes!
