The Arrival in Lima
After about 20 hours of travelling and wondering if our bikes would arrive in one piece we were reunited. The customs officials thought we were very strange and thought it would be impossible to cycle to Ushuia. Luckily the letter from the Embassy helped us on our way.
We were met in Lima by some of the Staff from Lima YMCA. Without them we don´t know how we would have even got out of the airport, let alone have new boxes made for the bus journey to the highlands.
